Coffee roasting is a true alchemy that ultimately influences the flavor properties of coffee. Generally speaking, we play with two basic characteristics of coffee: acidity and bitterness. Simply put, the more we roast the coffee, the more we suppress its natural acidity and emphasize its bitterness. In the world, the Italians are known for their very dark coffee roasts, while the inhabitants of northern countries prefer coffee roasted to a very light color.

Medium roasted coffee Brazil Santos excels with its natural acidity and full body. All of our other 100% Arabicas are roasted to a darker degree.

Brazil is currently the largest producer of Arabica coffee in the world, with a plantation area of approximately 2.3 million hectares. This is mainly due to the fact that its area spans three climatic zones (equatorial, subtropical, and temperate), providing ideal conditions for growing coffee plants. Most of the total production, about two-thirds, comes from small coffee growers. Due to its area, Brazil produces a large number of coffee varieties, but we can still declare one variety to be the most popular and the best: Brazil Santos. This coffee gets its name from the port of Santos, where it is shipped from the São Paulo region and exported to the world.

Origin of the coffee: In the São Paulo region, located in the southeastern part of Brazil, coffee is the main agricultural crop for the locals, so it receives maximum care and effort. Arabica coffee (Coffee Arabica) is grown here at lower altitudes (800-1000 m above sea level), and this is precisely why this variety is characterized by lower acidity.

Taste: Brazilian Santos coffee is renowned primarily for its lower acidity and full body. The coffee combines chocolate and nutty tones with subtle fruity notes. The taste is smooth. The aroma is pleasant without a trace of bitterness.

This type of coffee is truly a classic that anyone can enjoy. Ideal for a daily experience of delicious coffee.
