Green Land Farm is located along the scenic road connecting Pyin Oo Lwin and Mogok, near the border of Mandalay Division and Northern Shan State. The farm is not a family business but a heritage farm run by farmer U Sai Wan. Together with his uncle, aunt, two local agronomists and a dedicated team of workers, he manages the operation. The farm has one of the largest arabica plantations in the country, covering about 450 acres. The coffee landscape at Green Land is diverse, with a predominance of Costa Rica varieties , complement ed by a blend of Catimor and SL34. At Sai Wan, he knows no boundaries, and with each new coffee harvest he tries to push his farm further. He is constantly experimenting with new varieties such as Yellow Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai and even Geisha.

From the farm, ripe cherries are hand-harvested. After harvesting, the cherries are selected by immersing them in water and carefully sorting them to remove under-ripe and over-ripe fruit. The cherries are then placed on African beds and dried for 11 to 32 days (depending on weather conditions). Once drying is complete, the cherries are peeled to remove the outer layer of fruit and then sorted, graded and packed.

U Sai Wan is not only a farmer, but also a visionary in the field of choice coffee in Myanmar. His Green Land coffees regularly outperform the competition, for which they are recognized in national competitions. Aside from managing the farm, he also plays a key role in the Myanmar Coffee Association, where he is the Commercial Director at Mandalay Coffee Group.
