MamaCoffe roastery liked their coffee so much that a collaboration was formed to import the coffee to the Czech Republic, as well as other projects aimed at improving the quality of life for farmers in the area.

Coffee growers thrive in this northern Rwandan province, thanks to its abundant rainfall and ideal location in the foothills. The plantations are tended by several farmingfamilies who carefully hand-pick the ripe coffee cherries, wash them with water and then dry them directly in the sun.
