I received the teapot as a gift. The lid is noticeably loose after removing the strainer. In hindsight, it makes sense, but there’s no mention of it anywhere. The teapot was supposed to eliminate the need for a separate teapot to decant the tea after steeping. For now, I’ve solved this by using a twisted string to hold the lid in place while pouring into a cup. It’s a shame, because otherwise the teapot is really nice.
