How it all started
It all began around 2012. At the time, I was making websites for a living and was looking for truly high-quality coffee for myself. I ended up ordering more than I could drink, so I put the rest up on a simple e-commerce site.
I was amazed by the interest. It turned out I wasn't the only one looking for an honest product. Fresh coffee was soon joined by Moka pots, and gradually by tea, chocolate, and yerba mate. I simply wanted the best for myself, and I began offering the same to my customers.
Later, I wanted to provide an even wider selection, so I started collaborating with other roasters across the Czech Republic. I also included international brands like Trung Nguyen, which I discovered during my travels in Vietnam. The company grew steadily. First, we outgrew the shop, then we needed a warehouse, then a bigger one... and the journey continues :-)
Freshness first
We pay extraordinary attention to the freshness of our Gourmet Coffee and Gourmet Coffee Specialty ranges. They are freshly roasted every week to ensure the beans reach you in peak condition.
For other select coffees from our partners, we ensure they remain in our range for no longer than one month after roasting. I often work directly with roasters on a custom basis, personally tasting the coffee during cuppings. I select every coffee for you myself, sometimes traveling to origins like Colombia.
Our Kaffia brand
Our own brand, Kaffia, was created to offer quality without unnecessary markups. A prime example is the Kaffia Barista X grinder, which has become a bestseller thanks to its premium build quality and fair price.
Fast Shipping
We typically ship most orders the same day, and we now dispatch packages on Sundays as well. This means your weekend order can often be delivered as early as Monday.
