One standard cup thus comes out to an average of 130 ml. A french press with a volume of 350 ml is therefore absolutely ideal for 2 people. Kettle size

It can be said that French press kettles will come in one of three sizes. Depending on how many cups of coffee we usually make, we can choose the most suitable one.

French press up to 350 ml – this size is suitable for preparing one to two cups of coffee.
French press up to 500 ml - the most suitable volume for preparing up to four cups.
French press up to 1 l - with this volume you can prepare up to 7 cups of coffee.

From plastic to stainless steel

Each French press usually consists of several materials, but basically we distinguish three main types . The predominant material is either glass, plastic or stainless steel. Plastic French presses are usually cheaper, while glass and stainless steel ones will often be supplemented with design elements and are characterized by a much longer lifespan.
