Just as expected—great
An elegant, functional, and easy-to-maintain French press—great for making coffee and a cute addition to your home
I bought this French press for my husband to replace an older model whose glass didn’t survive a bump and ended up with a crack. He’d had it for many years. He’ll have to get used to this model because it’s not exactly the same. I noticed the first difference while washing it—before, I could fit my hand into the glass carafe along with the sponge, but I can’t do that with this model. It’s strange; they seem the same size to me. And another thing—my husband complained that pouring coffee into a mug doesn’t work as well as it did with the previous model. Maybe it’s a different angle on the spout… I don’t know.
In any case, once he gets used to it, this French press will be just as great as its predecessor. I can definitely recommend it to everyone.
If you’re going to get a Bialetti mocha pot, you might as well get a Bialetti French press too. First and foremost, it’s a beautiful little machine. It’s precision-crafted and looks like it’s worth more than it actually is. There’s not a single loose part. Everything fits together perfectly. The filter works beautifully, and it’s clear that someone really put some thought into this “little machine.” Unfortunately, we didn’t unpack the French press when we bought it at the store, and when I unpacked it after getting on the subway, I discovered that the glass was cracked. So we turned back, and everything was resolved without any issues at the store. I’m completely satisfied with both the French press and the salesperson’s service.
