Coffee Francin Rwanda Gikomero 250 g
A light roast coffee with a pleasantly fresh acidity and balanced sweetness. Notes of red apple and juicy cherry intertwine in the taste, complemented by caramel. The result is a harmonious, fruity-sweet cup with elegant depth and a smooth, balanced acidity.
Rwanda is a country with hilly terrain where many farms grow coffee. After 1994, coffee farming became an important part of economic recovery and a means of supporting local communities.
One of the coffee stations is Gikomero, established in 2010. It is run by the Rwanda Trading Company and works with local farmers. The station provides training, coffee tree seedlings and access to finance. Through similar projects, Rwanda has become a major producer of choice coffee.
Gikomero 199 coffee comes from a specific batch (lot) processed by the washing method. The beverage is typical of Rwandan coffees - clean, with a strong acidity and sweeter fruit notes. The number 199 indicates a specific batch, which means that its flavour profile is unique.
