Coffee Francin Rwanda Geseke 250g
Coffee with a distinctly fruity and beautifully balanced flavour profile. The cup combines the freshness of blackberries, the juiciness of apples and the subtle sweetness of raisins, leaving a pleasantly long and warm aftertaste.
Rwanda is known for its emphasis on washed processing, which gives rise to precise cherry sorting, controlled fermentation and above all an exceptionally clean and easy to read flavour profile. Significant development took place after 2002, when the country began to invest systematically in infrastructure, farmer training and export facilities. As a result, today Rwandan coffees regularly offer elegance, purity and consistency, which are among their most distinctive strengths.
The Nyamagabe district in southern Rwanda is situated at an altitude of between 1 700 and 2 100 metres and has almost ideal conditions for growing coffee. The volcanic soil, the proximity of the Nyungwe forest, the cooler climate and the slower ripening of coffee cherries combine to create an environment from which extremely complex lots can emerge. The Gaseke washing station is able to exploit this potential to the full, transforming it into a coffee with a clean, layered profile that is a pleasure to work with even during the roasting process.
