Good news for those of you who have weak hands, don't have time, or simply dislike hand grinding coffee with a crank :)
This extraordinary rechargeable travel electric grinder is brought to you by Timemore, so you can expect similar quality consistency and grind size range.
Compared to Timemore's classic manual grinders, this one is of course slightly larger, but with a height of about 20 cm, a diameter of only 8.5 cm, and a weight of just 645 g, it is incomparably smaller compared to classic electric grinders and belongs to the travel grinder category.
The grinder's design is minimalist, with a matte black plastic decorated with a single central gold button for starting the grind. The coffee grounds container is made of transparent glass. The container fits perfectly with the body of the grinder, so you don't need to carry an airtight jar :) In contrast to the lightweight plastic body, the grinder features highly durable steel grinding stones. It also has a metal spindle with 2 bearings.
This compact grinder houses two 3.7V 800mAh batteries, which you can recharge with the included USB-C cable. Additionally, it has a small 7.4V DC motor, which is enough for grinding 60 g of coffee beans (more should not be ground in one go). The Timemore Go grinder can grind 15 grams of coffee in 30 seconds. Before it runs out of charge, it will grind this amount 30 times, i.e., approximately 400g of coffee on a single charge.
As if that weren't enough, the grinder features the amazing Smart Auto-Swing function, which ensures smooth grinding without any stuck beans. This classic issue with grinders has been solved by the developers with automatic reverse rotation. The grinder detects an obstacle and automatically switches to reverse, unblocking the stuck bean and continuing grinding. If there are 3 unsuccessful attempts, the grinder will automatically turn off to protect the motor and grinding stones.
