Processing: Natural

This coffee comes from the Gedeb region, which is located in the Gedeo zone in the south of Ethiopia, in the famous Yirgacheffe region. The region is known for its rich tradition of growing fine coffee. It is processed in the Gedeb Slow Dry plant , which excels in strict quality standards. The best coffee cherries from local farmers are brought to the Lalesa washing station where, thanks to the high altitude of 2150-2200 metres above sea level and the unique conditions, they are transformed into coffee with a unique character.

The coffee is processed using the slow dry method, which requires care and time. After harvesting, the cherries are dried on raised beds under greenhouse cover for 20-25 days. This slow process allows for a longer fermentation time, resulting in a rich and fruity flavour profile that is significantly more complex than that of conventionally dried coffees. Careful spreading of the cherries into a thin layer ensures even drying. The coffee is then ready for export and will delight fine coffee lovers around the world.
