The coffee comes from the Uraga region of Guji, which is famous for its rich coffee culture and ideal growing conditions. Local farmers here grow native Ethiopian varieties at high altitudes. After harvesting, the cherries are cleaned and fermented in water, allowing the pulp to be removed and the natural flavours of the beans to be brought out.
