I do not recommend this grinder! Some of the ground coffee falls out of the container due to the milled grooves that secure the grinding mechanism in place. The grooves extend beyond the outer thread of the bottom container, allowing the ground coffee to fall through them and out of the container. When you unscrew the bottom part, a considerable amount of coffee spills onto the table. Another poorly made part of the grinder is the nut that adjusts the grind size. It loosens on its own while grinding; there’s no locking mechanism to ensure a consistent setting.
It grinds well, and it’s sturdy yet lightweight. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a top cover, so some coffee beans fly out while grinding. The thread on the body should have been the other way around—the ground coffee gets stuck in it. All it would have taken was to flip it over. These are all things that are annoying at home, but not at all on vacation. Overall, though, I’m very satisfied.
