Lelit
If you have a small kitchen countertop, you’ll appreciate a solution that combines an espresso machine and a grinder in one compact unit. The Lelit Anita PL042TEMD gives you control over both grinding and brewing, and thanks to its steam wand, it can also handle milk-based specialties.
Grinding and Espresso Preparation
The integrated grinder with 38mm steel conical burrs allows for smooth, micrometric adjustment of the grind size. We recommend adding beans gradually, ideally only in the amount needed for the current brew. This way, the coffee won’t be unnecessarily exposed to heat inside the machine.
A 0.25-liter brass boiler and electronic PID control ensure a stable temperature. The LCC unit with a display shows both the temperature and extraction time, while an analog pressure gauge provides an overview of the pressure during brewing. The vibration pump is complemented by an OPV relief valve, which helps maintain the pressure at approximately 9 bar.
Milk Frothing and Daily Operation
The swivel steam wand makes it easy to froth milk for cappuccinos or lattes. The coffee machine uses a single-boiler system, so coffee brewing and milk frothing take place sequentially: after brewing an espresso, you switch to steam and wait for it to heat up. The passive warming surface helps keep cups ready for use. The three-way valve, in turn, makes it easy to knock out the spent coffee puck after extraction.
The lever and group head have a diameter of 57 mm. When selecting additional accessories, such as a metal tamper, be sure to choose the appropriate size. Both the group head and the boiler are made of brass, while the outer casing is polished stainless steel.
