To prepare the perfect filter coffee in Chemex these Chemex paper filters have been specially designed for 6-10 cups.

At first glance, you will be attracted by their thickness. The filters are folded and are 20-30% thicker than other paper filters.It is the greater thickness and the conical shape of the filters that ensure a truly perfect extraction in which even the smallest deposits, unwanted oils and substances that cause bitterness in coffee are captured. They really only let through what they have to.

The filters fit all Chemex coffee machines except the CM-1,CM-1C and CM-1GH. For perfect pouring, we recommend the Hario Buono 1.2l pot again. For more information on filter coffee preparation, please see our section Coffee Preparation - Filtered Coffee.

Before using the filterfor the first time, we recommend rinsing the filter really carefully with hot water due to the greater thickness of the paper.
