Enzymatic simulation of Civet coffee (vegan)
Kopi Luwak coffee is created through the system of the civet beast. Today, this method is considered by many people to be not only disgusting (they basically roast feces), but also unethical. This is also why a cheaper version was created as a result, where the Civet's stomach enzymes are produced synthetically, so the coffee does not come into contact with the animal .
The result is very impressive and almost indistinguishable from the real thing . Thanks to ethical production, we can also call it civet vegan coffee .
This process gives Legendee coffee a very sweet taste , so even those who are used to sweetening will probably not sweeten it. Civet coffee is highly valued , but thanks to this technology we bring it to you at a low price!
Trung Nguyen coffee is different
Trung Nguyen coffees are very different from the classic coffees we know in our country, which is guaranteed to surprise you. In general, they have a slightly earthy taste with a sweet chocolate aroma. In Vietnam, it is drunk with condensed milk , sugar and crushed ice , creating a cooling drink with an absolutely addictive taste. Coffee is traditionally prepared using href="https://www.gourmetkava.cz/kavovy-phin-filtr-vietnamska-kava-175p">Phin filter, however, it can also be used in the European version, for example French press.
Why is the coffee ground ?
If this question also occurs to you, believe that there is a reason for this too. The coffee is ground directly in Vietnam using traditional technology, which also gives it a specific aroma and ideal roughness for preparation in a Phin filter . Although it is against the grain of classic gourmets, coffee retains its specific aroma in vacuum packaging .

This coffee is one of my three discoveries this year. When brewed as a pour-over, its aroma alone draws attention; the flavor is intensely chocolatey, and the finish is delicately balanced. It’s so distinctive that you’ll immediately tell it apart not only from other coffees but also from Trung Nguyen’s other products. Add to that the fact that you don’t have to subject any civets to suffering just to enjoy it, and that’s just another reason to give it a try. I highly recommend it and will definitely order it again.
Do you like the Phin filter and the flavor typical of these coffees from Vietnam? Then I recommend trying Creative 8. It’s a full-bodied coffee with pronounced sweetness and a subtle bitterness and acidity on the finish. The aroma lets your imagination run wild. In addition to the Phin, I’ve also tried it in a V60, and it works its magic there, too.
