The Kaffia Barista X grinder is the successor tothe successfulBarista grinder. Now, however, it features an improved design and is lighter in weight. It is made of aluminum, making it both lightweight and durable. Thanks to its precision 420 stainless steel burrs, it grinds better than grinders with ceramic burrs, such as those from Hario, Porlex, or Rhinoware. The grinder has a relatively long handle, which also makes grinding easier.
The bottom container screws on, so it stays securely in place while grinding.
The conical grinding burrsare made of high-quality steel and ensure consistent grind consistency for years to come. Adjusting the grind size is very simple and is done by turning the dial counterclockwise. Unlike its competitors, this grinder also features numerical grind size markings for easier navigation.
The grinder is suitablefor all alternative coffee brewing methods. It can grind coffee finely enough for espresso; however, as with other grinders in this price range, it does not allow for sufficiently precise grind adjustment—that is, the grind settings may be too coarse to achieve the correct grind for an espresso machine.
