Introducing the USB-C battery-powered coffee grinder that lets you grind fresh coffee almost without lifting a finger, not counting the push of a button :-)
The USB coffee grinder has excellent value for money. There is nothing like it in the electric grinder category at a similar price except the Timemore GO at twice the price. It is close in price to the chopper coffee grinders, but they do not allow you to adjust the coarseness of the grind at all and grind in such a way that there are small and large particles in the ground coffee. This has a major impact on the flavour, with the small ones being extracted quickly and the larger beans little, leaving the coffee over-extracted but flat in flavour. This electric coffee grinder consistently grinds coffee beans between ceramic stones. The grinder is therefore significantly better than chopper-based grinders.
The grind coarseness adjustment is great, but as with any manual grinder at this price point, it cannot be recommended for grinding espresso or very finely for turko. Therefore, we recommend setting the coarseness from about moka pot to French press.

It grinds slowly, so the ground coffee doesn't get hot. I had a bit of trouble adjusting the grind size. But then I realized I could turn the adjustment screw more than 360°, and after sacrificing four beans, it was set.
It's a good grinder; the grind size is easy to adjust, and the beans are ground evenly. The problem is with light-roast coffee, which is harder—and that's most of what I buy from Doubleshot. The grinder isn't powerful enough and keeps stopping.
I use it in combination with the Hario Mini manual grinder. It grinds great and saves time when needed. It’s quiet, quite small, and lightweight, so I take it with me when I travel. I’m completely satisfied!
The grinder really surprised me with its consistent grind size, which is easy to adjust. I’ve tested it for both drip coffee and espresso. On a single charge, it can grind enough coffee for about 6 cups (12 g each), which is plenty for our needs.
It’s easy to take apart and clean. It’s fairly easy to handle, and loading the coffee is simple (once you realize you really shouldn’t hold the grinder by the button :-))
I really appreciate that it has a USB-C port, so the right charging cable is always on hand.
We’ll see how durable the grinding stones are—that’s the only thing I’m worried about.
