What does Roman Nejedlý, a roaster at Fiftybeans, say about this coffee?

The coffee has notes of stone fruit, flowers, citrus, and chocolate cookies. Currently, we’re roasting washed Heirloom coffee from the Yirgacheffe region. It’s ideal for brewing with a Hoop, Pulsar, V60, batch brew, Aeropress, or other filter methods.

The barista recommends pouring water at 100 °C over the coffee, as the idea that higher temperatures can “burn” the beans is a myth. It’s roasted at 600 °C, so there’s no way to “burn” the beans. For filter coffee, it’s best to use beans no sooner than 7 days after roasting.

After opening the package for the first time, let it air out for at least 4 hours before brewing the coffee to avoid bitter notes in the flavor.
