The Eureka Mignon Libra 65 All Purpose combines a wide range of grind settings with a built-in scale that monitors the coffee dose directly during the grinding process. This means you don’t have to weigh the beans separately or keep track of the grinding time. Simply set the desired weight on the display, and the grinder will automatically stop once the correct dose has been ground. Dosing accuracy has a margin of error of approximately ±0.2 g.

The “All Purpose” designation means that the grinder isn’t intended solely for espresso. The specially designed flat burrs can also handle grinding for a moka pot, Aeropress, V60, drip coffee maker, Chemex, or French press. This means you don’t need a separate grinder for each brewing method.

At its core are large 65mm flat grinding burrs made of hardened steel, which ensure even and fast grinding. The upper burr has no holes for mounting screws, so less old coffee remains in the grinding chamber. The low-retention design also makes it easier to switch between different grind sizes and coffee varieties.

How does the grinder work?

Place the portafilter or the included dosing cup on the adjustable fork, select the desired dose on the touchscreen, and start grinding. The built-in scale continuously monitors the amount of ground coffee, and the grinder stops once the set value is reached. There are two programs available: preset doses and continuous mode. The adjustable hands-free fork is compatible with both the portafilter and the dosing cup, so you don’t have to hold the container in your hand while grinding.

Precise Grind Setting

Stepless micrometric adjustment allows for very fine grind setting, which is especially important when fine-tuning espresso. The large King Size Dial makes it easy to make precise adjustments as well as more dramatic transitions between espresso and filter coffee. The adjustment mechanism works with the lower burr, so the set grind size is retained even when cleaning and reassembling the grinder.

Cleaner and Quieter Grinding

ACE technology reduces clumping and static electricity. As a result, the ground coffee falls more evenly into the portafilter or dosing cup and scatters less across the work surface.
