Water Decaf from the Italian roaster Le Piantagioni del Caffè comes from the Chiapas region of Mexico and offers a smooth, balanced flavor profile with notes of honey and cocoa. Thanks to its natural sweetness and delicate flavor, it’s ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy a high-quality decaf espresso.
The coffee is made from 100% Arabica beans, and the caffeine is removed using the gentle Mountain Water Process, which uses water instead of chemical solvents. The green coffee beans are first treated with steam, then washed with water infused with the coffee’s natural compounds, and filtered through activated carbon. This process helps preserve the beans’ original aroma and flavor characteristics.
The result is a delicious decaffeinated coffee with a caffeine content of less than 0.1% that loses none of its character. It’s perfect for making espresso or brewing in a moka pot.
