In 1900, a Polish immigrant, Juan Szychowski, and his family settled near the town of Apóstoles in the Argentine province of Misiones and founded the company "La Cachuera". Juan's dream was to build a future for himself in his new homeland by growing maté tea.
Since then, four generations have developed the AMANDA brand with their ideas and determination, perfecting the production of naturally grown products with the help of technological advances. Today, Amanda is one of the best known and most popular maté tea brands in Argentina.
The range includes Amanda Tradicional, Despalada (stemless), Compuesta con Hierbas, orange-flavoured, Instant (maté tea dissolved in water) or Premium.
