It's a great game for social gatherings, and it even brews good coffee!
It makes for an interesting backdrop to entertain guests. The coffee tastes good, too, which is a nice bonus considering the circus act involved in making it.
I was curious to see how this coffee-making system worked, and it exceeded my expectations. The resulting coffee was smooth, with a balanced flavor. That was the verdict of the experts—my fellow coffee lovers. I was also intrigued by how the coffee maker works, especially the final phase, when the coffee is drawn into the flask due to negative pressure, and the grounds remain in the upper chamber. This is a great way to explain to schoolchildren how positive and negative pressure work. I highly recommend it to coffee-loving parents who have school-age children at home. Here’s a little tip: if you pour preheated water into the flask beforehand, the brewing process takes less time—about as long as it does in a lever-style espresso machine.
An interesting spectacle during the coffee-making process and a pleasant change in flavor.
The only thing I have to complain about is that the markings on the bottom container wore off after a few washes.
