Playful, sweet and pleasantly irrepressible. Unicorn Blend #14 from The Naughty Dog is not a coffee that sticks to the ground. On the contrary, it impresses with a distinctive flavor profile, lively acidity and a combination of notes that feel unrefined but very harmonious in the cup. The flavours include juicy blueberries, spicy notes reminiscent of Hashlerky, a subtle hint of spiced tea and a sweet finish of milk chocolate. The result is a layered yet highly drinkable cup that stands out well on the filter.

This blend combines two distinctly different coffees - the washed Ethiopia Taferi Kela and the naturally processed Colombia El Diviso of the Sidra variety. The Ethiopia brings lightness, purity and a subtly floral tea-like character to the cup, while the Colombia adds a sweeter, fuller and fruitier dimension. Together, they create a balanced whole in which the individual ingredients complement each other naturally.

The combination of washed and natural processing methods also contributes significantly to the final expression. The washed component promotes purity of flavour and a clearly discernible acidity, while the natural part adds fullness, sweetness and a more intense fruity character. As a result, the coffee is lively, complex yet balanced, with a long, sweet aftertaste.
