Classic preparation in a teapot (500 ml):
- Tea quantity: 8 grams
- Water temperature: 85 °C
- First infusion: Steep for 90 seconds.
- Second and subsequent infusions: Steep for 120 seconds for the second infusion and 180 seconds for the third.
Preparation in gaiwan (100 ml):
- Quantity of tea: 4 grams.
- Water temperature: 80 °C
- First infusion: Steep for 30 seconds.
- Forthe next two infusions, infuse for 30 seconds each, then 45 seconds and 90 seconds for the next.
