To achieve the perfect espresso, the right combination of several key factors is required, such as: freshly ground coffee, proper tamping, the correct pressure, and a consistent water temperature.  The Sage BES875 lever espresso machine offers an innovative solution for temperature control throughout the entire extraction process. Using an electronic PID system, it monitors and maintains a constant temperature throughout extraction, ensuring stability and preserving the quality of the resulting espresso.

In addition to regulating temperature, theelectronic PID system ensures aninitial low-pressure pre-infusionfollowed by a gradual increase in pressure for the most uniform coffee extraction possible. 

The coffee maker features a 250-gram coffee hopper, from which the coffee beans fall into the integrated grinder with conical stainless steel burrs. Here, the beans are ground according to your chosen grind size, with up to 18 different options available. You can select the amount of coffee to be ground yourself. Finally, the ground coffee is dispensed into the portafilter holder. You can fine-tune the precise dose and ensure even distribution using RazorTM.

The wide range of functions allows you to experiment with coffee preparation and find the best combination for a delicious cup of coffee with a thick crema, tailoredexactly to your taste.
