Farmer Don Senel planted his first coffee plantation at the age of 12 in 1968. His whole family works on the farm. The name of the coffee translates as 'Stone Axe' after the small stones found during planting. Efficient ripening of the cherries is achieved by planting different trees, which protects the coffee trees from direct sunlight. The coffee cherries are fermented for 30-35 days to achieve the ideal moisture content.
Thanks to experimental processing, this coffee stands out for its juicy flavour full of fresh fruit and flowers. That's why we have included it in our series of discovery editions.
