La Alquimia Farm and Cerro San Luis Micromill are the family business of siblings Alexander and Magali Delgado. Located in the Grecia region of Costa Rica. Four years ago they decided to improve the quality of their coffee and replaced older coffee trees with more than ten varieties such as Caturra, Bourbon, SL-28, Catuai and others.
Every step in the processing of the coffee is carefully controlled. After harvesting, the cherries are dehusked and the beans are dried first on raised beds, then on a covered terrace where they are rotated regularly. This precise process guarantees the highest quality coffee.
Cerro San Luis Micromill is a symbol of family tradition, innovation and commitment to excellence. It produces less than 1,000 bags of coffee a year, carefully separating microlots by processing and variety. This approach has earned it an exceptional position in the fine coffee market, where every cup reflects tradition and passion.
