Jaen is a city where you'll find coffee at every turn. Since it's sort of in the middle of areas like Cajamarca or El Diamante, all the coffee from the mountains around flows in. There are many large warehouses of well-known importers, including Falcon Coffees, of course. They have set up a subsidiary here and there is a fully equipped coffee evaluation laboratory within the warehouse. Such on-site evaluation within a few hours allows farmers to be paid directly on the day of purchase. At the same time, they have straight feedback on their coffee (defects, drying rate, cupping score,...) which is a huge added value.

This lot from Elevi stands out for its sweet herbal/floral aroma, which can almost give the impression that it is not a washed coffee. The taste is lighter, sweet, with a lively acidity on the finish.
