Have you ever tasted the finest coffee from Indonesia?
Coffee production has a long tradition in the Indonesian islands. It was first brought here from India by Dutch colonists at the turn of the 17th century and today Indonesia is the fourth largest coffee producer in the world. However, with a primary focus on the production of Robusta and commodity coffees, we are delighted to be able to offer you the exact opposite of traditional production. Members of the Koerintji Barokah Bersama cooperative on the island of Sumatra grow their choice coffee on the volcanic bedrock around the Kerinci volcano. The co-operative is run by Mr Triyono, who mentors other farmers and spreads the trend of choice coffee production in the region. He also runs their processing plant and laboratory where they roast and taste all the coffees together. Thanks to his work and the support of @sucafinaspecialty_europe, we now have a unique coffee for you with notes of tea, spices and mandarin.
