FUNKY IS BACK!

This year it came from Costa Rica, where it was produced by Luis Campos with one goal - to get your taste buds going! Luis first selected the ripest cherries from his farm, peeled them and then left them in the sun all day to caramelize the sugars in the flesh. He then placed these grains, coated in the sweet flesh, in a stainless steel tank and used CO2 to squeeze out all the air. This method gave Luis maximum control over the development of the flavour profile.

The aroma of the coffee offers notes of red grapes, candy and Nutella, which transform into sweet wine, blackberries, candy and hibiscus on the palate. FUNKY has a sweet creamy body with a distinct ripe fruit acidity that makes it suitable for both filter and espresso, BUT you can also enjoy it on those hot days as a cold brew! :)
