TheLodos 1947 grinder is the exact embodiment of your idea of a traditional coffee grinder. These beechwood mills are largely handmade, so each piece is a little different. The wood is hand-painted and stained to the appropriate shade if necessary. The inner workings are then nickel-plated and the grinding stones are made of hardened steel. The handle and coffee tray are made of metal in silver. The entire grinding system is guaranteed by Lodos for 10 years.

I am very satisfied with the product.
I have only one comment, though it’s probably a personal one.
When I grind, I place the grinder on the table and grind. The grinder slides around a bit. Couldn't the bottom surface be equipped with some kind of non-slip feature? I'll solve this by sticking on some silicone rings.
