Ariete
In a narrow kitchen, every centimeter counts—this home lever espresso machine is only 14 cm wide, yet it comes equipped to make both espresso and milk-based coffees. The white finish blends easily with a modern interior, and you’ll appreciate how quickly it heats up—in about 40 seconds—during everyday use.
Making Coffee and Milk-Based Beverages
The coffee maker can brew one or two cups at a time and allows you to adjust the amount of coffee brewed. You can use freshly ground coffee or pre-packaged ESE coffee pods. The set includes filters for one or two cups and accessories for making coffee from pods.
The stainless-steel Maxi Cappuccino nozzle is used to froth milk for cappuccino, latte, or espresso macchiato. You can also use the hot water function to prepare tea and other hot beverages. The adjustable double drip tray allows you to use both a shorter espresso cup and a taller mug.
The resulting flavor profile depends primarily on the selected coffee beans, their grind, and the brewing method. The coffee maker operates at a pressure of up to 15 bar; however, the pressure value alone does not guarantee a specific flavor or proper extraction.
Practical Features
Heating is provided by the Thermoblock system, and you can monitor the brewing process on the built-in pressure gauge. The coffee maker features a cup warmer, an Anti-Drip system, and backlit buttons with LEDs. The removable 1.1-liter water tank makes it easy to refill. The machine automatically shuts off after 25 minutes and alerts you when it’s time to descale.
