I used to tap the portafilter against the edge of the trash can, which was not only inconvenient but also a bit unhygienic. With this tapper, I’ve not only solved that problem, but it also looks like a pretty nice accessory next to my coffee maker. It’s made of solid metal, has a non-slip finish, and features a discreet mount for the central part you tap against. I’m satisfied.
When the coffee is tapped out, some of it gets past the tapper
