Simple, elegant and yet extremely practical and high quality, this is the Hario Skeron PRO manual coffee grinder from the Japanese brand Hario. This grinder has several pro's that make your buying decision very quick.
Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the grinder is very easy to hold in the hand and grinding is very comfortable. The bottom of the grinder is equipped with a non-slip pad made of durable rubber, which will ensure that the grinder will not bounce when you grind, even on slippery surfaces. The transparent glass container for ground coffee is equipped with a lid, so you can use it to store your coffee for later use. It can hold up to 100g of coffee. With the Skerton PRO, you'll also be pleased with the silicone hoop at the gripping point of the grinder, which makes grinding more comfortable.
Thegrinding mechanism is made of ceramic, and is very easy to wash. A big plus of this newer version of the grinder is the more convenient control of the grinding coarseness from the bottom of the grinding unit, just by turning the nut either clockwise or counterclockwise.
Another bonus is the hexagonal end of the lever (the previous version had a pentagonal end that showed wear with really long use).
Like other Hario products, the Skerton PRO grinder is made of high quality stainless steel and there is a high proportion of handmade work.
