The magic of Italy in every cup

Coffee and Italy have a long-standing symbiosis. The history of the drink on the Apennine Peninsula dates back to the 16th century, when Venetians could buy coffee in pharmacies and it was a drink of the upper classes. Since then, Italy has been full of great cafés and the popular caffeinated drink has long since erased social divisions.

When Alfonso Bialetti opened an aluminum workshop in 1919, it was only a matter of time before he made something that would serve coffee.

In 1933, his revolutionary moka pot saw the light of day, and today you will find not only design- and function-perfect moka pots and a range of coffee-making accessories in the renowned company's range, but also a great French press in a truly luxurious design.

Amazing design

The Italian designers have dressed the classic glass vessel in a stainless steel outfit that combines modern design with traditional elements. The iconic little man with a moustache by illustrator Paul Campani is also present. The cartoon figure made the company famous in 1960s TV commercials and is now part of the company's logo. The interestingly designed handle was inspired by the shape of a mocha express teapot.
