Ndundu PB from Kiambu County in Kenya is an example of the precision work of the Thiririka FCS cooperative. The farmers here follow strict cultivation rules, harvesting is done entirely by hand and each cherry must be delivered to the processing station the same day. This is followed by careful sorting in floatation tanks and the classic Kenyan full-washed process: fermentation, thorough washing and slow drying on African beds.
This approach results in an exceptionally clean, sparkling and complex cup with acupping score of 87+. The flavour beautifully combines juicy tangerine, smooth nectarine and sweet prune with subtle caramel undertones. The body is syrupy, harmonious and full of the fruity elegance typical of quality Kenyan lots in the PB size.
