For the elegant Hario Woodneck Drip Pot coffee machine, the Japanese company Hario was inspired by the traditional preparation of filter coffee in Latin America. In Costa Rica, this method is called chorreador and is never without a wooden structure and a cotton filter.

Aspecial cotton filter on a wooden holder is also included in the Woodneck coffee maker and is an interesting alternative for those who don't like paper filters in a dripper. The cotton filter can let more oils out of the coffee, unlike a paper filter, and as a result the coffee has a stronger body. The fabric has much smaller holes than paper, so the extraction will take a minute or two longer, but the result is definitely worth it! To make sure the filter serves you well, you need to ensure that it is always clean and moist. Simply submerge it in water and put it in the fridge when not in use.

TheWoodneck is made from Hario quality heat-resistant glass, and as the name suggests, the "neck" of the coffee maker is completed with a wooden corset covered with leather.

The use of the Hario Woodneck coffee maker is similar to that of a classic dripper, except for the cotton filter and the beautiful stylish carafe, which is sure to find use for more than just making coffee.
