The Kaffia Kone decanter features a fine metal filter from which the extracted coffee overflows directly into a jug from which the coffee can be served directly. It is also an interesting alternative for those who do not like paper filters in a dripper, which will be both a much more economical and more environmentally friendly solution. The metal filter also lets more of the fine coffee oils through than other filters, giving the coffee a more substantial body.
The use of a drip pot is similar to that of a classic dripper, except for the metal filter and the handy carafe, which will surely find use for more than just brewing coffee.
