Ceado
The Hoop by Ceado is a modern dripper that brings a different way of brewing coffee without the need for precision pouring. The water is not poured directly onto the coffee as in conventional methods, but passes through holes in the filter tower where it is infused. This solution makes preparation easier and requires no special barista skills, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced coffee lovers. The compatibility with AeroPress filters is also a great advantage, increasing its versatility.
Using the Hoop is simple:
- Insert the paper filter into the filter tower and rinse it with hot water.
- Pour in medium ground coffee (e.g. 15 grams, but no more than 20 grams, with a sand-like grind for optimal extraction).
- Screw the filter tower onto the base.
- Pour in water at a temperature of 95 °C (approx. 250 ml), which will infuse the coffee evenly thanks to the filter tower.
- Within 5-6 minutes, the extraction takes place, with the Hoop gradually filtering the water through the coffee bed.
- Once the extraction is complete, unscrew the filter tower and discard the used filter with the coffee.
- Rinse the dripper with warm water for further use, or put both parts in the dishwasher.
