It takes longer to boil than I'm used to with a regular kettle, but given the number of steps involved in making coffee, that doesn't slow me down at all. The actual coffee brewing process is really great with this kettle; it’s very easy to control the water flow. I’ve only compared it to cheaper kettles (like Tchibo and others), but I definitely don’t regret the investment.
