Comandante now comes with a new version of the previous C40 MK3 model, which brings several improvements.
Thanks to a lot of research, the Comandante C40 MK4 grinder has received new grinding stones with sharper edges compared to its predecessor MK3, ensuring easier grinding and evenly ground coffee. The new material of the grinding frame will not leave any stuck bean! Almost no residual coffee is retained in the grinder.
Grinding adjustment is controlled by a convenient rotary knob located under the grinding stones. A locking system locks the preferred grind setting into place, helping you to repeat your preferred setting over and over again. The results are extremely satisfying, both when grinding for alternative methods and when grinding for espresso, making the device unique compared to other hand grinders. In addition, thanks to their physical and chemical properties, the grinding stones are neutral in terms of their effect on the taste of the coffee.
The grinder also has a unique design. High-quality materials were used to produce the grinder, so not only the grinding stones, but also the body, axis, crank and micro ball bearings are stainless steel. Comandante products do not contain aluminium. Where polymers can be used to improve performance, Comandante uses high performance BPA-free polymers that meet the strictest food safety standards. These materials are designed to withstand years of rigorous use. Comandante loves natural wood. The oak wood handle is wonderfully ergonomic and beautiful to look at.
The package for the new version includes two glass containers for ground coffee: 1x brown glass and 1x clear polymer glass. They are lightweight, durable and can be used as a cup! Both are very easy to clean and hold approximately 40 g of roasted coffee beans.
