The filter is made of 100% stainless steel and is an alternative to the classic paper filters for the >>Aeropress<< coffee machine. Thanks to the metal design, you will avoid constantly buying paper filters, which will be both a much more economical and more environmentally friendly solution. Another advantage of these filters is their very low price, which makes them affordable for everyone.
The filters have a medium coarse sieve, so the coffee is suitable for grinding to a medium coarseness. However, you can of course play around with the extraction and try different coarsenesses. Compared to the Able Standard, the size of the holes is comparable, while the number of holes is larger.
The difference with a paper filter will be that metal traps less coffee oils than paper. Your resulting drink will therefore be thicker and fuller in flavour.
