Bialetti
Bialetti Brikka is the only moka pot that has been enhanced with a patented valve, making it work more like an espresso machine compared to other moka pots.
Thanks to the valve, Brikka creates a nice crema (foam) on your favorite coffee, just like in cafés. But that’s not all. The higher pressure ensures a shorter extraction time, allowing the coffee to flow through the pot in only about 20 seconds, preventing over-extraction compared to a traditional moka pot. The increased pressure also makes the brewing process closer to that of espresso.
Bialetti Brikka is made from polished food-grade aluminum, and the comfortable handle is plastic. Aluminum cookware is often avoided, but in this case, there is no reason for concern. Over time, the interior of the coffee maker develops a patina that absorbs the coffee’s flavor. This is precisely why Bialetti moka pots are so popular worldwide.
