TheIMS Competition B652TH27.5M is a high quality two-port filter/ portafilter basket designed for coffee machines with 53mm foam, such as selected La Spaziale, Astoria Plus4You and Wega Concept models.
IMS Competition Series baskets are designed for more precise and even espresso extraction. With precisely positioned holes, they help water flow better through the coffee bud, which can lead to a cleaner taste, higher consistency and less risk of channeling.
The B652TH27.5M has a height of 27.5 mm and is suitable for approximately 15-20 g of coffee depending on the type of coffee, grind coarseness and roast level. For darker coffees a lower dose is usually used, for lighter roasts a higher dose may be required.
