Precise Water Distribution
The IMS GA200IM shower head is designed for Gaggia lever-operated espresso machines that match its dimensions and mounting specifications. The manufacturer specifies an outer diameter of 55 mm and a center hole with an M5 thread. Before purchasing, therefore, verify the dimensions of the shower head and the mounting on your coffee machine; compatibility cannot be automatically assumed for all Gaggia models.
The one-piece AISI 316 stainless steel construction features 98 holes with a diameter of 3 mm, each with 19 microperforations. The integrated membrane helps ensure even water distribution across the coffee puck, which is essential for a balanced extraction process.
Easy cleaning and maintenance
The smooth surface, free of significant irregularities, minimizes areas where dirt and coffee oils can accumulate. The shower head is therefore easy to clean, and its design helps keep the coffee machine’s head clean. This is the standard GA200IM model, not the nanotechnology-based GA200NT version.
