Typica Mejorado is a variety of Arabica coffee plant and it is a very unique variety that is also compared to the famous rare Geisha variety. However, World Coffee Research has discovered through genetic testing that Typica Mejorado is actually a Bourbon variety that was created by pollinating the Ethiopian Landrace variety, so the Typica denomination is not entirely accurate.
