Tumbaga Sugarcane Decaf takes decaffeinated coffee to a whole new level. The Sucafina importing company places special emphasis on the selection of suitable coffees. These are the company's regular partners who can provide sufficient supplies throughout the year. The decaffeination process itself consists of soaking the beans in water to which ethyl acetate from molasses is added. This gradually binds the caffeine to the desired level. This is a very gentle method of removing caffeine, leaving the coffee with its colourful vanilla, citrus character and creamy aftertaste.
