Mariano Cardona is a second-generation farmer, and the name of his farm, Canalaj, is derived from the town of the same name located nearby. His family first worked the farms themselves until they saved up the money to buy their own. Since then they have concentrated on coffee as their only income. They have been part of the coffee community for 15 years and work to improve the quality every year. You can expect to taste raisins, the sweetness of milk chocolate and an aftertaste of vanilla in your cup.
