Every year we await the coffees from Peru with great enthusiasm. Even though this year, for various reasons, we were not able to get coffees from the farmers we have been working with for several years, there was still plenty to choose from! Plus, we already know the El Diamante area and some of the farmers from there, we know what kind of coffee they produce, and that translates beautifully in this "village" blend. It comes from many farmers and their families in the same area, so we can't even tell the varietal composition clearly, although Caturra will definitely dominate.
The aroma is fresh, full and sweet. On the palate you'll find great balance with a milder medium acidity of ripe stone fruit, nuts and herbs.
